When Charlotte Mecklenburg schools are in session, the hours will be 4 pm to 7 pm. Family Pool/lifeguard Phone: 704.556.3921 1. Proper Identification Everyone using the pools must have an identification
badge. No
exceptions will be made. Daily passes are available for your guests, through
the club manager. Members must
accompany their guests at all times. Lifeguards
or authorized persons may ask anyone within either of the pool gates for badge
display. No one should be offended if they are asked to return to their
residence for their badge. We must discourage unauthorized use of our pool.
Everyone’s cooperation in wearing badges or having the badge displayed on a
garment laying on the chair or chaise will help tremendously. Members whose current assessments are
in arrears will have pool privileges revoked. If you need a replacement badge, please call the
management office @ 980.207.8984 during office hours. 2. Safety and Health Provisions Carolina Pool Management and Quail Hollow Management will strive to maintain a pleasant atmosphere for all, and good behavior rules will be strictly enforced:
Life-guards
and Quail Hollow management are responsible for enforcing all safety and health
rules and will report any violations by minors to their parents. Disobeying the
lifeguard could result in losing pool privileges. 3. Lifeguards All lifeguards will be properly identified and will remain in the family pool area. For 10 minutes every hour, the lifeguard will require all children to leave the pool for an adult swim. The lifeguard may ask an adult to make sure no child enters the pool. During this time, the lifeguard will test the water in the adult pool and check and clean the restrooms. Lifeguards are responsible for carrying out directives of the Board and Property Management. A copy of these written instructions will be available at the pool. Members and guests should not ask the lifeguard to circumvent his or her responsibilities. 4. Restrooms Restroom
facilities are on the main level of the clubhouse, across from the entrance to
the adult pool. Because of problems with water leaking into the lower
level, we request that you do not use the showers in the restrooms. Please use
the outside showers provided at both pools.
Additional restroom facilities for the family pool are located in the
basement of the clubhouse. 5. Familiarization with Pool Rules Members are responsible for familiarizing
all pool users in a household and their guests with these rules. 6. Compliance of Rules It is necessary to maintain high health and safety standards for everyone to enjoy our pools. Many rules are established by our insurance carrier and the Mecklenburg County Health Department which we are bound to follow, or be closed. There are no special privileges for anyone or any group. Everyone’s full cooperation is requested. 7. Management, Maintenance and Supervision Our pools and lifeguards are managed by Carolina Pool Management, who is responsible for cleaning the pools and maintaining the chemicals. They also hire and train the lifeguards who are instructed on the rules and regulations. These cannot be altered. 8. Property Damage Damage to facilities as a result of
neglect or vandalism will be repaired at the expense of the responsible
person. 9. Personal Property Quail
Hollow Homeowners Association, Carolina Pool Management, the lifeguards and
managers bear no responsibility for damage or loss of personal property.
